Karnataka is the third largest producer of sugarcane in India, It produces 59.35 million tonnes of sugarcane, contributing 12.10% of the total production of sugarcane in India
Tamil Nadu produces 17.66 million tonnes of sugarcane with this production Tamil Nadu on the fourth position, contributing 3.60% of the total production of sugarcane in India
5th on the list is Gujarat with 13.46 million tonnes of sugarcane production, contributing 2.74% of the total production of sugarcane in India
Bihar is the 6th largest producer of sugarcane in India, It produces 12.74 million tonnes of sugarcane, contributing 2.60% of the total production of sugarcane in India.
