What is a Harvester?
The modern combine harvester is a versatile machine designed to efficiently harvest a variety of grain crops. The name derives from its combining three separate harvesting operations—reaping, threshing, and winnowing—into a single process. Among the crops harvested with a combine harvester are wheat, oats, rye, barley, corn (maize), sorghum, soybeans, flax (linseed), sunflowers and canola.
The separated straw, left lying on the field, comprises the stems and any remaining leaves of the crop that have limited nutrients left in it. The straw is then either chopped, spread on the field and ploughed back in or baled for bedding and limited feed for livestock.
How Does a Combine Harvester Work?

A Combine harvester tractor implement is a massive, complicated machine with numerous moving components and stages. The combine header is responsible for cutting and gathering the crops from the field. The crops are then fed into the combine's belly, where they undergo a series of procedures to separate the grain from the rest of the crop (stalk, etc).
After the separation process, the grain is transferred into the grain tank, and the other leftovers are discharged via the back of the machine back into the field. The farmer can then bail the discharge later or allow it to disintegrate naturally and offer nutrients to the soil.
It is essential to invest in a combined harvester as it eases farmers’ work. But before purchasing a harvester, you must look into its features and specifications, which make it suitable and stand out from the rest.
Advantages of Combine Harvester

Combine harvesters are among the most economically important labour-saving inventions, significantly reducing the fraction of the population engaged in agriculture.
