Retail Harvester Sales are 1,684 units in September 2025, registering a growth of 56.8%. September 2025 has already recorded healthy growth in retail harvester sales, reflecting strong market demand. However, since the Navratri festival and the new GST reform were implemented during the last week of September, a number of harvester registrations remain pending. These pending registrations are expected to be added in October 2025, which could push the sales figures even higher than the September 2025 performance. On a Year-to-Date (YTD) basis, from April to September 2025, total harvester sales reached 7,516 units and reflecting a growth of 54.71%.

Retail Harvester Sales in September 2025
In September 2025, the retail harvester sales are 1,684 units, a strong rise from 1,074 units in September 2024, reflecting an overall growth of 56.8%.
- Vishal led the market with 275 units, achieving a remarkable growth of 108.33% and improving its market share from 12.29% to 16.33%.
- Kartar followed with 179 units, but despite higher volumes, it witnessed a decline of 3.71%, with market share dropping from 14.34% to 10.63%.
- Malkit showed outstanding performance with 152 units against 62 last year, registering 145.16% growth and lifting its market share from 5.77% to 9.03%.
- Dasmesh also delivered strong results, selling 149 units, up from 48 in the previous year and gaining market share from 4.47% to 8.85%.
- John Deere impressed with 120 units, compared to 48 units last year, a 150% growth, and market share expansion from 4.47% to 7.13%.
Overall, September 2025 highlighted a robust performance, with the retail harvester industry achieving a total of 1,684 units, up from 1,074 units last year. Together, these top five manufacturers contributed 875 units, which accounts for nearly 52% of the overall industry sales.
Retail Harvester Sales YTD (April 2025 to September 2025)
- From April to September 2025, Vishal emerged as the leading brand with 1,179 harvester units sold, compared to 642 units in the same period last year. This translates into a growth of 83.64%, increasing its market share to 15.69%.
- Kartar followed closely with 1,108 units in YTD sales, up from 777 units in the previous year. However, it recorded a slight decline in market share from 15.99% to 14.74%, despite a 42.60% growth in sales volume.
- Malkit also showcased remarkable growth, selling 608 units this year compared to 285 units last year. This is a growth of 113.33%, boosting its market share to 8.09%.
- Preet recorded 600 units in YTD sales, compared to 240 units in the same period of 2024, reflecting a growth of 150%. Its market share rose from 4.94% to 7.98%, strengthening its position.
- John Deere saw a significant improvement, selling 525 units against 215 units last year, marking a growth of 144.19%. Its market share increased to 6.99% from 4.43%.
The retail harvester market recorded 7,516 units between April and September 2025, compared to 4,858 units in the same period last year, reflecting an impressive growth of 54.7%. The top five manufacturers together contributed 4,020 units, which accounts for nearly 53.5% of the total industry sales.

Retail Harvester Sales Rank-1 Uttar Pradesh Apr’25 to Sep’25
Uttar Pradesh led the state-wise contribution with 1,645 units, accounting for 21.89% of total sales. Vishal dominated in the state with 283 units (17.20% share), followed by Kartar with 196 units (11.91%) and Malkit with 184 units (11.19%). Preet and Dasmesh also held strong positions with 9.24% and 8.15% contributions, respectively.
Retail Harvester Sales Rank-2 Punjab Apr’25 to Sep’25
Punjab was the second-largest contributor with 1,631 units (21.70%). Kartar led the market with 347 units (21.28% share), followed by Vishal with 211 units (12.94%) and Malkit with 110 units (6.74%). Dasmesh and Preet also secured strong shares of 5.27% and 3.68% respectively.
Retail Harvester Sales Rank-3 Madhya Pradesh Apr’25 to Sep’25
Madhya Pradesh recorded 1,004 units (13.36%) during this period. Vishal topped with 167 units (16.63% share), followed by Kartar with 148 units (14.74%) and Preet with 117 units (11.65%). Malkit and Punni Vishwakarma also made significant contributions with 8.67% and 7.17%.
Retail Harvester Sales Rank- 4 Haryana Apr’25 to Sep’25
Haryana contributed 839 units (11.16%), where Vishal dominated with 234 units (27.89% share). Kartar stood second with 136 units (16.21%), while Preet accounted for 11.08% with 93 units. Punni Vishwakarma and Malkit also held notable positions with 6.56% and 3.34%, respectively.
Retail Harvester Sales Rank-5 Maharashtra Apr’25 to Sep’25
Maharashtra contributed 500 units (6.65%). Malkit led the state with 80 units (16% share), closely followed by New Holland with 75 units (15%). Guru Nanak secured third position with 11% and 55 unit sales, while Kartar and Preet contributed 10.20% and 9.60% respectively.
On the state-wise front, total sales stood at 7,516 units, with the top five states collectively contributing 5,619 units, which is nearly 74.7% of the overall industry sales. Uttar Pradesh and Punjab continued to dominate the market with a combined share of over 43%, while Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Maharashtra played a vital role in driving regional growth momentum.
