Retail Tractor sales increase by 5.24% YoY in December 2022, shows FADA Research

FADA releases its monthly tractor sales report, which shows an increase in retail tractor sales of December 2022  by 5.24% as compared to December 2021.

According to the details and Data provided by FADA, there is an increase in tractor sales in December 2022 than the total sales of tractors noted in December 2021. All the tractor brands in India show a slight rise and decline in the number of sales for December 2022. In short, we can say that all the tractor brands have generated better sales which shows the increasing demand for tractors in the Indian market. Further, let's have an individual insight into the sales of tractor brands.

Sales report for Mahindra and Mahindra

Mahindra tractors have acquired a first position with total sales of 19,389 than other tractor brands in the industry and have shown a rise in the sales of December 2022 as compared to December 2021, which was 14,938.

Sales report for Mahindra and Mahindra Swaraj Division

Swaraj tractors have ranked 2nd position following Mahindra tractors with total tractor sales of 12,922 for the year December 2022 and have shown a rise in tractor sales as compared to the year 2021, which ended at 10,480.

Sales report for International tractors limited (Sonalika Tractor)

The leading ITL - Sonalika tractors have managed to attain stability in its total number of tractor sales with a negligible change in sales number, the sales noted for December 2022 was 9722 as compared to December 2021 which was 9266 (near to 2022).

Sales report for TAFE Limited ( Massey Ferguson Tractor ) 

TAFE is a popular brand in the tractor industry for its superior quality tractors. This year December 2022, shows a decline with total sales of 7867 as compared to the sales of December 2021 which were 8297.

Sales report for Escorts Kubota Limited (Farmtrac, Powertrac and Digitrac)

The total sales figure of Escorts for December 2022 is 7759, which shows an increase in the figure by December 2021 which ended at 6260. Escorts is also a competitive brand in the tractor market, with a proven rise in tractor sales. 

Sales report for John Deere

John Deere has shown a massive increase in its sales for December 2022 with 6508 total sales compared to its last year's sales, which was 4795 in December 2021. This shows an increase in demand for John Deere tractors among customers. 

Sales report for Eicher Tractors

Eicher tractor shows no change in their sales number by attaining stability. It accounted for 5015 total sales in December 2022 which is slightly less than December 2021 with 5395 sales which is a little more than December 2022.

Sales report for CNH Industrial (New Holland)

3287 and 2284 are the total sales figures for tractors for December 2022 and December 2021 respectively. CNH Industrial tractors have set a high standard in the tractor industry. 

Sales report for Kubota

Kubota tractors have shown a slight rise in the figure with 2385 total sales in December 2022 which is comparatively high from December 2021 which accounts for 1582.

Sales report of Other tractors

If we look towards other tractor brands like Vst, Force, Gromax & Preet, they all have shown a bit of rise and fall in their tractor sales for the year December 2022 and December 2021 which is quite negligible. Hence,  All these brands have managed to increase their tractor sales in the market with their consistent efforts towards providing superior quality tractors and better marketing efforts.
