Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors Domestic Tractor Sales in September 2024

In September 2024 Mahindra & Mahindra domestic tractor sales came at 43,201 units. This shows a growth of 3% relative to 42,034 tractors sold over the same time last year.

Monsoon rainfall has seen an increase of 7.5% over LPA and this has helped increase in Kharif sowing. Reservoir levels have recovered and are now at 13% higher than LPA, which augurs very well for a bumper Rabi crop. On the back of the good Kharif crop and likely strong Rabi crop, rural sentiments are positive and have shown this increase in sales. 

Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors Export Sales in September 2024 

In September 2024 Mahindra & Mahindra export tractor sales came at 1,055 units. This shows a 10% decline in sales as against 1,176 units exported in September 2023.

Mahindra & Mahindra Total Tractor Sales in September 2024

The overall sales of Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors in September 2024 were 44,256 units, a 2% growth compared to 43,210 tractors sold in September 2023.

The main reason for this change in total sales has been better crop conditions for both Kharif and Rabi seasons. 
 

Mahindra & Mahindra Total Tractor Sales in April-September 2024

Between April and September 2024, total sales of Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors stood at 2,14,849 units. This figure shows a growth of 5% as compared to 2,05,070 tractors sold in the same period last year.

With positive terms of trade for farmers and upcoming festivals, the company expects robust demand for tractors going forward.
