As fields turn greener with every passing season, what’s also changing is the machinery behind the scenes. As of June 2025, harvesters have become everyday essentials in many parts of the country. This past month has seen a remarkable shift of 57.04% in the sales of harvesting equipment. And the numbers speak volumes about the momentum of modern mechanisation in Indian agriculture.
June 2025 vs June 2024: A Faster Moving Market
In June 2025, retail harvester sales across India saw a noticeable rise, hitting around 936 units, compared to 596 units sold in June 2024. That’s over a 57.04% jump, a clear sign that more farmers are choosing technology that saves time and cuts dependence on manual labour.

Madhya Pradesh sold 403 units, marking a growing interest in mechanised harvesting in central India.

Maharashtra, often known for its small landholdings, still surprised many with 313 harvesters sold, with an increased market share of 8.58%.
