How can I keep my tractor in good condition during the off-season?

Battery: Either disconnect the battery terminals or hook it up to a maintenance charger so it doesn't drain completely dead while sitting idle.
Storage: Ideally, park it under a shed or proper cover; direct sun, rain, and dust exposure over months does more damage than people realise.
Tyres: Inflate them to the recommended pressure, and if possible, don't let the tractor sit on the same flat spot for the entire off-season; shifting or rotating it occasionally prevents flat-spotting.
Lubrication: Grease every fitting, hinge, pivot point, and joint you can find. Parts that sit still for months without lubrication tend to seize up, and freeing a rusted joint later is way more work than greasing it now.
Fuel: Fill the fuel tank completely rather than leaving it half empty; this reduces the air space where condensation can form. If the tractor's going to sit unused for a long stretch, adding a fuel stabiliser is a smart move too.
Engine: Don't leave old, dirty oil sitting in the engine for months; change the oil and filters before storage, because aged oil carries acidic byproducts that slowly eat away at internal engine components even when the tractor isn't running.
Cleanliness: Before parking your tractor for the season, give it a good wash. Mud, crop residue, and dust sitting on the body trap moisture underneath and quietly speed up the rusting process, especially in hidden joints and the undercarriage.
