Eicher 557 are 3 cylindered, dual-clutch power steered tractors. Power steering makes the vehicle very smooth to drive and also facilitates the turning of vehicles easily on the farms. Both are very much preferred by the farmers and are very comfortable to work upon.
Eicher 557 is a 50HP tractor with a 3300 cc and 2150 rpm engine. The lower CC of John Deere tractors makes them very much fuel-efficient and economical tractor. Both have oil-immersed breaks, their brakes prevent overheating and brake fade. Eicher 557 also has multi-disc oil-immersed breaks. Both the models do not allow steering adjustment but have 6 splines PTO.

Eicher 557 has 4 stage Oil bath type air filter. Eicher 557 has a traditional water cooling system.
