Asked By : Raghav Khushwah
Diesel and biodiesel are different from each other in various ways. Diesel is a non renewable fuel extract from crude oil. Biodiesel ia a renewable fuel made from vegetable oil, animal fats, & more. The key differences diesel and biodiesels are: *Source: Diesel comes from non-renewable petroleum; biodiesel comes from renewable biological materials. *Environmental Impact: In comparision to diesel, Biodiesel burns cleaner, producing fewer harmful emissions like carbon monoxide and particulates. *Biodegradability: Biodiesel is non-toxic and biodegradable, whereas diesel is more harmful to the environment if spilled. *Engine Compatibility: Biodiesel can be used in diesel engines, either blended with diesel (like B20) or in pure form (B100), though some modifications might be needed.
