Ever-highest harvester retail sales: 13,199 units sold with 20.89% growth in FY'25
Driven by growing demand for modern agricultural equipment, the Indian harvester industry keeps expanding rapidly. Together with a review of brand-wise and state-wise sales for the fiscal year 2024–25, this article offers the most recent harvester retail sales figures for March 2025.
Retail Harvester Sales for the Financial Year 2024-25
With a great performance for the sector, the total harvester sales from April 2024 to March 2025 came out to be 13,199 units, which is 20.89% higher than the sales of 10,918 harvesters in FY 2023-24.
Selling 2,160 units compared to 1,409 units the previous year, Kartar Harvesters became the top-selling brand, therefore boosting its market share by 3.46%. With a 14.71% market share, Vishal Harvesters shortly followed, selling 1,941 harvesters.
Though its total market share dropped by 1.06%, Malkit Harvesters sold 861 units in FY 2024-25, which is 3.98% higher than the sales of 828 harvesters in FY 2023-24. Having total sales of 852 units, Preet Harvesters witnessed a 0.89% increase in market share.
John Deere made amazing increases in sales from 457 units in FY 2023-24 to 770 units in FY 2024-25, overall increasing its market share by 1.65%.

Top 5 Brands Driving the Retail Harvester Sales: March 2025 vs March 2024
Harvester sales in March 2025 grew by 51.46% over March 2024. The leading brands performed as follows:
Selling 347 units in March 2025, Vishal Harvesters kept its leading spot. From March 2024, its market share fell by 7.35%. Kartar Harvesters came second with the sales of 341 harvesters and a 3.83% growth in the market share.
Preet Harvesters occupied the third place, showing an increase of 2.03% in market share with sales of 91 more units than in March 2024.
Selling 155 harvesters in March 2025 instead of 124 in March 2024, Malkit Harvesters sharply raised their sales by 25.00%. With 6.19% of the market share, Dasmesh came 5 on the list.
State-Wise Harvester Retail Sales Analysis for the Financial Year 2024-25
The state-wise analysis of retail harvester sales reveals key regional market leaders:
With 3,167 units sold in FY 2024-25, Punjab led the market, where Kartar sold 632 units, and Vishal grabbed 12.95% of the market.
By selling 2,224 harvesters in FY 2024-25, Madhya Pradesh came in second, with Kartar and Vishal being the most sold brands.
1,999 harvesters were sold in Uttar Pradesh, leading it to the 3rd position in the list. Vishal (13.61%) and Malkit (13.61%) led the market in UP.
Haryana accounted for 10.56% of the total retail harvester sales, occupying the 4th position with 1,394 harvester sales.
With 1,081 harvesters sold, Chhattisgarh secured the 5th position with a contribution of 8.19% in the market.
