Retail Tractor sales down by 23.85 percent YoY in September 2021 shows Fada Research

The waves of growth are a bit low this time. Tractor brands couldn’t make more sales in September 2021 than September 2020. Read why?

Businesses have a habit of facing tight repercussions, market forces and economic conditions are other factors that contribute towards the decline and growth of the tractor. The September sales of the tractor brands like Mahindra, John Deere, Kubota, EScorts, Swaraj etc seems like accumulated on low ranges. Yes, according to the FADA research, the sales figures of the following month is comparatively less than the same month of 2020. However, there cannot be a definite reason for the tractor sales to go down, unfavourable market forces and economic conditions can be assumed. Staying true to the fact, let’s take a ride on the performances of these tractor brands in September 2021.

Mahindra & Mahindra tractors
The Mahindra tractor is the giant player in the market having a great amount of rapport and goodwill. The tractor brand has always captivated the market with the highest numbers in sales than its competitors. However, being on top, still, the Mahindra & Mahindra tractor brand has accounted for 11,766 sales in September 2021 than the 15,824 in September 2020.

Swaraj tractors
Being a saple of Mahindra, this company grew in its individual space and fame. The tractor brand has successfully built an aura of producing the best range of tractors that are on high sales. However, the brand managed to sell out 8,691 tractors in September 2021 than 11,599 in September 2020. Swaraj tractor still managed to captivate 16.43% of the market share with possible sales.

International Tractors Ltd
The tractors of these brands (Sonalika tractors) have taken up the market with a great storm. These tractors have shown up to be the best in the farming industry, farmers like them because of their intrinsic features and absolute great technological blend. The sales figure in September 2021 stood at 6478 which is less than the sales figure of September 2020 - 8881. The market share of the respective month in 2021 was 12.25% which has a decimal difference in comparison to the last year’s figure.

TAFE Ltd
The name is enough! However, the sales in this year are quite sceptical to see growth or increasing number because of unpredictable situations and conditions around. The sales figure of September 2021 stood to be 6120 than the sales figure standing in September 2020 that accumulated to 7890.

Escorts Limited
This brand is an Agri-machinery group having manufactured and produced heavy-duty and best-fit tractors. Escorts sales have numbered to 5474 in September 2021 than the sales in September 2020 that accounted for 7412 in total. The sales figure at surprise is going a bit down because of various internal and external factors that have a great impact on the market share of it too.

John Deere tractors
John Deere tractors have shot an arrow always in terms of launching the best tractor giants in the market. John Deere sales for September 2021 stands at 4736 and 5156  in September 2020 which is in comparison very low. The drowning results have kept others wondering the reason for their downfall.

Eicher tractor
Eicher tractors have been recognised as and pioneer brands in tractor production. Eicher tractors have surprisingly pulled out 2767 sales in Sept 2021 than 4269 in Sept 2020. The sales of the brand have closed up nearly to falling results, the reasons are quite evident. Failing marketing tactics and unfavourable economic conditions are to be blamed.

New Holland tractors
New holland tractors have computed to 2188 in September 2021 and 2912 in September 2020. The tractor brand has got the best in features tractors that are intrinsic in design and high graded in specifications. Despite its usual marketing, this month saw a drowning sales figure.

Kubota tractors
1336 in September 2021 and 1584 in September 2020. That’s how the sales figures of Kubota tractors look like. Kubota tractor brand has since so far given its cent attempt in launching up a best and most fabulous range of the tractors. Kubota has captured 2.53% of the market share with mind-blowing results. Hopefully, the brand will trigger out more sales.

Other brands

Brands like VST, Force, Captain, Indo farm and others too have accounted for 506, 346, 229 and 342 in September, 201 which is comparatively less than September 2020. The rise in these tractor sales is definite in coming years. However, the market giants and other players are fingers crossed for seeing great growth in nearby future.
