1. नारियल पेड़ों का करवाएं बीमा, उठाए सरकारी योजना का लाभ।


नारियल के पेड़ बहुत लंबे होते है और उचाई पर ही इनमें फल लगते है, फिर इनकी खेती करने वाले किसानों दूसरे किसान की तरह मौसम, कीट और बीमारियों की समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ता है। नारियल की खेती प्राकृतिक कारणों से बर्बाद होने पर किसानों को ज्यादा नुक़सान ना उठाना पड़े इसलिए ही सरकार ने नारियल पेड़ बीमा योजना शुरू की है।

नारियल पेड़ बीमा योजना पायलट स्तर पर लागू की जाती है, बीमा सुरक्षा हेतु इसमें सभी किस्मों के पेड़ों को सुरक्षा दी जाती है जिसमें लंबी, बौनी और संकर जोड़कर कई किस्मों के नारियल पेड़ शामिल हैं। बौनी और संकर किस्मों के नारियल पेड़ों को 4-60 वर्ष की उम्र तक बीमा सुरक्षा देते है और लंबी किस्म के नारियल पेड़ों को 7 से 60 वर्ष की उम्र तक बीमा देते हैं। योजना का लाभ बूढ़े और कमज़ोर पेड़ों पर नहीं दिया जाता है। योजना का लाभ लेने के लिए किसान के पास 10 फलदार नारियल वृक्ष होने चाहिए। इसमें बीमा प्रीमियम और बीमा राशि तय करने के लिए पेड़ों को दो आयु वर्ग में बांटा है जो 4-15 वर्ष और 16-60 वर्ष तक है। इसलिए नारियल पेड़ों की बीमा करवाने वाले किसानों को बीमा प्रस्ताव में यह भी घोषणा करना अनिवार्य है कि पेड़ों की आयु ग्रुप कौनसा है। योजना की अधिक जानकारी के लिए नजदीकी कृषि बीमा कंपनी के एजेंटों से या बागवानी विभाग के कार्यालय से संपर्क करें।



2. 17 अगस्त से होगी समर्थन मूल्य पर धान और मक्का की खरीद


भारत में किसानों को उचित समर्थन मूल्य प्रदान करने के लक्ष्य के साथ राजीव गांधी किसान न्याय योजना चलाई जा रही है । योजना के अंतर्गत 2020 - 21 में किसान पंजीकरण के दौरान पंजीकृत हुए धान के रकबे के आधार पर धान और मक्का की खरीद पर समर्थन मूल्य प्रदान किए जाएंगे । छत्तीसगढ़ के किसानों के लिए धान और मक्का की खरीद समर्थन मूल्य के साथ 17 अगस्त से शुरू की जाएगी जो 31 अक्टूबर तक चलेगी । धान और मक्का की खरीद पर कुछ नीतियां भी बनाई गई है । जिसके अंतर्गत 2019-20 में पंजीकृत किसानों को 2020-21 के लिए भी पंजीकृत माना जाएगा । इसीलिए इस साल किसानों को पंजीयन कराने की आवश्यकता नहीं है । खरीफ वर्ष 2019-20 में पंजीकृत किसानों की दर्ज भूमि, धान के रकबे और खसरे की जानकारी राजस्व विभाग के जरिए अद्यतन कराया जाएगा । इसके अलावा तहसीलदार द्वारा नए किसानों का पंजीयन किया जाएगा । इसके अलावा आपको बता दें इस वर्ष लगभग 85 लाख टन धान खरीदी का अनुमानति लक्ष्य तय किया गया है ।



3. Agriculture ministry launched a data recovery centre ‘Krishi Megh’  On August 11, 2020  



On August 11, 2020 Agriculture ministry launched a data recovery centre ‘Krishi Megh’ set up at National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad. It will protect the data of the main data centre of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) present at the Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (IASRI) in New Delhi. 

Due to different seismic zone as compared to the Data Centre at ICAR-IASRI in New Delhi, appropriate climatic condition and availability of skilled IT manpower NAARM, Hyderabad was chosen as an appropriate place for the set up of Krishi Megh.

Krishi Megh has been synchronized with the data centre at IASRI to decrease the risk, improve the quality, availability and accessibility of e-governance, research, extension and education in the agriculture sector of India.

According to the Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar it is important to save and conserve the research-based data in a digitised manner to facilitate its access all over the world as well as it will help in digitalisation of agriculture. He also said that 'Krishi Megh' has been set up under the National Agricultural Higher Education Project that strengthens the national agricultural education system in India. As well as he launched the Vishwavidyalaya Chhatr Alumni Network (KVC ALUNET) and Online Accreditation System to help the Higher Agricultural Educational Institutions.


4. India’s exports of non-basmati rice in first two months of FY21 jumps 52.5%


 

India’s exports of non-basmati rice to many different countries. In the first two months of financial year 21, the export has jumped from 7.three lakh tonnes to 11.13 lakh tonnes.

Africa has become the most important purchaser of non-basmati rice and Bangladesh is also growing its demands. 

Traders mentioned rice millers in Bangladesh had been demanding excessive costs for rice that they would offer to the federal government warehouses.

Rice consumption is increasing in Bangladesh as people are staying indoors due to the coronavirus outbreak. Eating out has stopped and this is increasing the demand for rice in the country.

Bangladesh meals ministry is contemplating importing rice amid sluggish progress in the procurement of rice and paddy.

Bangladesh authorities’ meals workplace might meet 20% of its paddy procurement goal of Eight lakh tonnes and 45% of its rice procurement goal of 11.5 lakh tonnes.


5. The Jharkhand government wants to export its vegetables.



The Jharkhand government is thinking of exporting their vegetables to other countries like Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman. The interested farmers have to join the groups in their respective nearby area. And they are going to start the vegetable export from Kolkata on August 13 with the first stock of 2 tonnes. Through this step, it is estimated that 500 farmers of Jamshedpur, Ranchi and women of Hazaribag, Gumla will be benefited in phase 1 and phase 2 respectively. The state agriculture minister Badal thinks that agriculture will help to make India self-reliant. This step taken by the Jharkhand government will surely improve conditions for farmers in situations like COVID.


6. The government makes the purchase of bio-fertilisers compulsory with urea.



Recently, the prime minister, Mr Narendra Modi urged farmers to slash the use of urea in order to preserve the quality of soil which is ruining due to the exorbitant use of chemical fertilizers. In the same respect to promote the use of bio-fertilisers, the government has made it compulsory for farmers to purchase bio-fertilisers along with even a single bag of urea.

To execute it better, a special committee is formed to look after the functioning of fertiliser purchase. The agricultural department also claims that every crop has different requirement of fertiliser and therefore the particular amount is suitable for their proper growth. Excessive use of fertilisers not only hinders crop growth also make soil infertile.

The initiative of the government is to promote the use of eco-friendly fertiliser like bio-fertiliser which is a need of an hour.
