Retail Tractor sales down by 1.49 percent YoY in September 2022 shows FADA Research

FADA has got the results of the performance of tractor tycoons for September 2022, have a look. Unfortunately, according to the FADA details, September 2022 data collects less number of tractor sales which accounts for 52595, whereas September 2021 sales stood to 53392 in grand total, though the difference margin is a bit low, still the tractor brands need to put their best in triggering more sales. Let’s read ahead about what caused the impact. 

Sales report for Mahindra and Mahindra 

12050 is the tractor sale for September 2022 whereas 11770 is for September 2021. The difference in the sales for comparative years is quite low yet in 2022, Mahindra took the bounce with growth. No doubt, This time the tractor brand survived by good sales. 

Sales report for Mahindra and Mahindra Swaraj Division

In September 2022 Swaraj's tractor sales accounted for 8429 and in September 2021 has a total of 8695, which is a bit more than this year. The reasons for low sales can be many hopefully those get worked out. Swaraj is the giant player in the industry and growth in sales is always expected in its case.

Sales report for TAFE Limited ( Massey Ferguson Tractor ) 

In September 2022 tafe sales 6664 tractors and 6130 in September 2021. September 2022 turns out to be flavourful and fortunate for the respective tractor brand as they have generated more sales this year with great efforts. Hopefully, TAFE continues to hit more sales in the coming months/years.

Sales report for International Tractor Limited ( Sonalika Tractor ) 

Total sales accounted is 6481 for September 2022 and 6206 for September 2021. The International tractor limited has shown a growing graph in sales, which is appreciable. September 2022 turns out to be an encouragement for their performances. 

Sales report for Escorts Kubota Limited

Sadly, Escorts Kubota Limited (Farmtrac, Powertrac and Digitrac) has too accounted for less number of sales in September 2022 which is 5114, and September 2021 is 5473. It shows that the season of good sales is yet to come, but however, Escorts kubota ltd. will be back with shooting sales soon. 

Sales report for John Deere

The same goes with John Deere, the tractor brand has just pulled off its target sales and accounted for 4267 in September 2022 whereas in 2021 it has accumulated to 4739. 

Sales report for Eicher Tractors 

Surprisingly Eicher has accounted for 3049 tractor sales in September 2022 and 2791 in September 2021 which is quite a relief as it marks a rise in sales. Thus, the sales of Eicher this year take uplift, and hope it continues for the coming months too. 

Sales report for CNH Industrial (New Holland)

2099 for September 2022 and 2186 for September 2021, that’s the stats of sales for CNH which show that the brand scored a bit low in shooting sales this month. It needs to beat the sales figure by a huge amount which quite assures of their better survival in the industry. 

Sales report for Kubota

Kubota tractor Total sales stood at 1388 for Sept 2022 and 1337 for Sept 2021, that’s the sales figure which has a meager difference that could be analyzed. Hopefully, Kubota gives a better comeback in the coming months by having more sales than the previous year. 

Sales report for Others

Tractor brands like V.S.T Shakti & Captain accounted for 533 and 516 sales figures in September 2022 respectively, which is marked as growth in their sales whereas brands like Indo Farm and Force accounted for 204 and 344 of total sales respectively in September 2022 which is again disappointing as they score low. 

Conclusion

Conclusively, the tractor sale results for September 2022 are a mixed performance of growth and downfall in sales as some of the tractor brands took over their sales in September 2021, whereas some are still managing to hit the big score. Hopefully, the difference in downfall will be worked upon.
