1. Mahindra & Mahindra Tractor Sales in April 2024 

Mahindra & Mahindra tops the chart in the retail tractor industry in April 2024 with a total sale of 12,651 tractors. Through this sale, it seized the 22.34% market share. Total retail tractor sales of Mahindra & Mahindra were 12,633 units in April 2023 and the recorded market share was 22.62%. Considering this data, we can conclude that Mahindra experienced YoY growth in tractor units. 

2. Mahindra & Mahindra Tractor Sales, Under Swaraj Division, in April 2024 

Swaraj retail tractor sales were 11,028 units in April 2024 and its market share remained at 19.48%. Swaraj sold 9,558 units in April 2023 and grabbed a market share of 17.11%. These sales trends establish the fact that Swaraj noticed YoY growth for April 2024. 

3. International Tractors Limited, Sonalika Tractors, Sales in April 2024 

Sonalika retail tractor sale for April 2024 is 7,420 units and it stood at 13.10% market share against the total sale of 6,963 units and a market share of 12.47% in April 2023. This way, Sonalika demonstrated YoY growth for April 2024.  

4. Escorts Kubota Limited (Farmtrac and Powertrac) Tractor Sales in April 2024

Escorts Kubota Limited retail tractor sales for April 2024 are 5,866 units while its market share is 10.36%. For April 2023, this sale was 6,247 units and the market share was 11.18%. 

5. TAFE (Massey Ferguson) Tractor Sales in April 2024  

Massey Ferguson retail tractor sales in April 2024 are 5,622 units and this comprehensive sale helped it to bag 9.93% market share. For April 2023,  Massey Ferguson’s retail tractor sales were 6,749 units and its market share was 12.08%, demonstrating a YoY drop.

6. John Deere Tractor Sales in April 2024 

John Deere sold 4,772 units in the retail market in April 2024 and seized a market share of 8.43%. The brand experienced YoY growth as it sold 4,554 units in April 2023 and the recorded market share for said period was 8.15%. 

7. Eicher Tractor Sales in April 2024 

Eicher retail tractor sale for April 2024 is 3,881 units and its recorded market share is 6.85%.  The company registered YoY growth as its total retail sales were 3,217 units in April 2023 and the market share was 5.76%. 

8. CNH Industrial (New Holland) India PVT. LTD. Tractor Sales in April 2024 

New Holland demonstrated YoY sales growth. New Holland retail tractor sales for April 2024 are 2,414 units and it seized a 4.26% market share.  New Holland sold 2,266 tractors in April 2023 and managed to seize a market share of 4.06%. 

9. Kubota Agricultural Machinery Pvt. LTD. Tractor Sales in April 2024 

Kubota's April 2024 retail tractor sale is 1,077 units. This sale helped this leading tractor manufacturer of India to record a market share of 1.90% for the respective period.  As Kubota's April 2023 retail tractor sale was 1,318 units and its market share was 2.36%, it demonstrated a decline in YoY sales. 

10. VST Tillers Tractors Limited Tractor Sales in April 2024 

VST retail tractor sales for April 2024 are 163 units and its market share is 0.29%.  In April 2023 VST sold 309 tractors in April 2023 and recorded a 0.55% market share. 

11. Force Motors LTD Tractor Sales in April 2024

Force Motors April 2024 retail tractor sales are 151 units and its market share is 0.27%. For April 2023, its total retail tractor sales were 262 units and its market share was 0.47%. 

12. Other Tractor Brands Sales in April 2024  

For April 2024, the combined other tractor brand sales are 1,580 units and their market share is 2.79%. The sales of other tractor brands in India were 1,781 units in April 2023 and their total market share was 3.19%. 

Shedding Light on Total Retail Tractor Sales in April 2024

The retail tractor industry of India performed well in April 2024 with a total retail tractor sale of 56,625 units, resulting in 1.37% YoY growth. The total retail tractor sales in India during April 2023 was 55,857 units. On a MoM basis, this industry declined by 27.82% as the total retail tractor sales in March 2024 was 78,446 units.
