Mahindra and Mahindra Founded in 1945 as Mahindra & Mohammed and later renamed as Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M). Mahindra & Mahindra have three popular tractor brands: Mahindra Tractors, Swaraj Tractors, and Trakstar Tractors.

Swaraj sub-brand of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) created India's first indigenous tractor and is now a rapidly growing company with a diverse range of tractors and farm machinery. They build tractors with a range of 11 hp to 70 hp. 

Trakstar was established by Pashabhai Patel as M/s Pashabhai Patel & Co. PVT. LTD in 1946. Mahindra & Mahindra acquired a 51% stake in 1999 and an extra 9% stake in 2000 in the company. They build tractors with a range of 31 to 55 hp.
