Retail Tractor sales increase by 13.96% YoY in February 2023, shows FADA Research

FADA  has released its Monthly tractor sales report, which shows growth in the sales of tractors by 13.96% YoY in February 2023 as compared to February 2022.

According to the FADA reports, the overall tractor sales increased this February 2023 compared to February 2022. All the tractor brands in India have noted better growth in their tractor sales this year in 2023, which denoted the increasing demand for tractors in the Indian market. So, let's dive deep into getting an individual insight into the sales of different tractor brands.

Tractor Sales February 2023:

Sales report for Mahindra and Mahindra

Mahindra tractors have acquired a first position with 15,884 tractor sales than other tractor brands in the industry and show a rise in the sales of February 2023 against the sales of February 2022, which had a total sales of 11, 362.

 

Sales report for Mahindra and Mahindra Swaraj Division

Swaraj tractors have acquired a 2nd position with total tractor sales of 12,473 for the year February 2023 against the tractor sales of February 2022, which stopped at 8,424 total tractor sales.

 

Sales report for International tractors limited (Sonalika Tractor)

The well-known ITL - Sonalika tractors have managed to attain the 3rd position with total tractor sales of 8,617 against February 2022, which accounted for 7,259 total tractor sales. Hence, the brand also has increased its sales this year.

 

Sales report for Escorts Kubota Limited (Farmtrac, Powertrac and Digitrac)

The total sales figure of Escorts for February 2023 has shown a good hike in their sales made as compared to their sales of February 2022. The sales for February 2023 are 7,343 against February 2022, which ended at 5,042 total tractor sales.

 

Sales report for TAFE Limited ( Massey Ferguson Tractor) 

TAFE’s popularity has also been noted with their tractor sales report, which has shown a slight growth in their sales this year February 2023 with 6,603 total tractors sold against the tractor sales of February 2022, which ended at 6,216.

Sales report for John Deere

John Deere has also shown a better increase in its sales for February 2023 with 5,977 total sales compared to its last year's sales, which was 4,397 in February 2022. This shows an increase in demand for John Deere tractors among customers. 

 

Sales report for Eicher Tractors 

Eicher tractor has shown a slight increase in their sales with 3,924 total sales this year in February 2023 against the 3,698 sales of tractors in February 2022.

 

Sales report for CNH Industrial (New Holland)

The total sales of tractors in new holland this year in February 2023 increased by 2,655 as compared to sales of February 2022, which accounted for 2,124 tractor sales.

 

Sales report for Kubota

Kubota tractors have shown a slight rise in the figure with 1,965 total sales in February 2023 which is comparatively better sales as compared to their tractors sales last year in February 2022, which stopped at 1,503 tractor sales.

 

Sales report of Other tractors

If we look towards other tractor brands like Vst Shakti Tractors, Force Tractors, Manku agro tech pvt ltd, Gromax Agri Equipment  LTD ( Trakstar Tractors ) & Preet Tractors, they all have shown a bit of increase and decrease in their tractor sales for the year February 2023 and February 2022. Hence,  All these brands in india have managed to increase their tractor sales in the Indian market with their consistent efforts towards providing superior quality tractors and better marketing efforts.
