The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has released its retail tractor sales data for November 2023, which shows retail tractor sales of 61,969 units and a decline of 21.28% in retail tractor sales. This FADA Sales November 2023 report will further provide detailed insights into the sales made by all the tractor brands, comparing the sales of the previous year in November 2022. So, let's get started by analyzing the sales made by tractor brands individually.
FADA Tractor Sales November 2023:
Mahindra tractors showed a slight decline in their tractor sales unit this year in November 2023 by selling 14,481 tractor units. On the other hand, Mahindra successfully sold 19,107 tractor units last year in November 2022. This signifies the decline of tractor sales in this year's monthly sales compared to sales of the previous year in November 2022. Whereas the market share percentages of November 2023 and November 2022 are 23.37% and 24.27% respectively.
2. Sales report for Mahindra & Mahindra Under Swaraj Division
Swaraj Tractors have also noted a slight decline in their sales this year in November 2023 compared to last year's sales in November 2022. Swaraj registered sales of 11,481 tractor units in November 2023, which is less than the 13,244 tractor units sold in November 2022. On the other hand, the market share for November 2023 shows an increase in its percentage compared to November 2022. The market share for November 2023 is 18.53% and the market share for November 2022 is 16.82%.
3. Sales report for International Tractors Limited (Sonalika Tractor)
Sonalika Tractor registered sales of 8,293 tractor units in November 2023, which is slightly lesser in number compared to the previous year's sales of tractors made by the company. Sonlalika was successful in selling 9,689 tractor units in November 2022, which is slightly higher than this year's sales. Whereas, the market share percentage for November 2023 is 13.38% which shows a rise as compared to 12.31% market share in November 2022.
TAFE has also registered a decline in their sales this November 2023 with a sales closing at 7,232 units, this is comparatively lower than the previous year's sales of November 2022, which showed sales of 9,114 tractor units. Hence, this number signifies the fall in the TAFE sales in November 2023 compared to November 2022. Whereas, The market share percentages for November 2023 show an increase compared to November 2022, which accounts for 11.67% and 11.58% respectively.
Escorts have also marked a fall in their sales this year with the sales closing at 6,270 units in November 2023, which is comparatively much less than the sales experienced in the previous year in November 2022. Last year, Escorts Kubota successfully sold 8,552 tractor units in November 2022, which is quite a good rate than the sales noted this November 2023. Lastly, the market share percentage of tractor sales for November 2023 and November 2022 stops at 10.12% and 10.86% respectively.

Eicher tractors like others have experienced a decline in their sales number in November 2023 compared to the sales made in November 2022. Eicher tractors registered the sales of 4,527 tractor units in November 2023 which is lower than the sales of 5,134 tractor units made in November 2022. In addition to this, The market share percentages for November 2023 show an increase compared to November 2022, which accounts for 7.31% and 6.52% respectively.
John Deere one of the popular companies in india has also noted a decline in the sales of their tractors this year’s November 2023 compared to the sales made in November 2022. John Deere sold 4,443 tractors in November 2023, which is comparatively lower than the 5,401 tractors sold in November 2022. On the other hand, the market share percentage for November 2023 is 7.17% which shows a rise as compared to 6.86% market share in November 2022.
On the other hand, CNH Industrial Ltd has also shown a decline in its sales this year compared to last year's November 2022 sales. New Holland sold 2,339 tractor units in November 2023, which shows a slight decline in number compared to last year's sales of 2,856 tractor units. Moreover, The market share percentages for CNH Industrial in November 2023 show an increase compared to November 2022, which accounts for 3.77% and 3.63% respectively.
9. Sales report for Kubota
Kubota tractors have also experienced a decline in their sales in November 2023 with the sales closing at 1,005 tractor units, which is also quite less than the sales made in November 2022. Kubota sold 1,757 tractor units in November 2022. The market share percentage for Kubota tractors in November 2023 and November 2022 is 1.62% and 2.23% respectively.
10. Sales report of Other tractors:
The FADA reports of the other tractor brands in india have also shown a slight decline in their sales VST Tillers Tractors Ltd. Sold 188 tractors against 492 sold in November 2022, GROMAX sold 315 against 356 sold in November 2022, Indo farm sold 227 against 247 sold in november 2022. In addition to this, other tractor brands collectively sold 1,168 tractors in November 2023 against the 2,771 tractor units sold in November 2022.
