Retail Tractor sales increased by 13.58% YoY in August 2023, shows FADA Research

Today, FADA has released Monthly tractor sales report for August 2023. This report shows the sales volume of the tractor brands in the Indian market. According to the reports, all the major tractor brands have shown steady growth in their sales volume, comparatively higher than the previous year's monthly sales rate of August 2022. FADA retail monthly tractor sales register a growth of 13.58 % YOY for August 2023. This article will bring you all the sales information of the particular tractor brands, and we will also compare it with last year's sales rate.

Tractor Sales August 2023:

1. Sales report for Mahindra & Mahindra

Mahindra tractors have shown significant growth in their sales volume by selling 17,921 tractor units in August 2023. Whereas, the sales of August 2022 registered was 11, 681 units. This indicates that Mahindra tractors have shown a rise in their tractor sales volume in August 2023 compared to August 2022. Hence, Mahindra has always occupied the first position in the list.

2. Sales report for Mahindra & Mahindra Under Swaraj Division

Swaraj Tractors on the other hand has also shown growth in their sales volume by successfully selling 13,400 tractor units in August 2023, which is comparatively higher than 8,178 tractor units sold in August 2022. Hence, Swaraj Tractors also registers a higher growth than its previous year's tractor sales.

3. Sales report for TAFE Limited (Massey Ferguson Tractor)

Similarly to Mahindra and Swaraj, TAFE has also acquired a better lead in the list and successfully sold 9,560 tractor units in August 2023, which is comparatively a better sales volume than its previous year's sales of 7,487 tractor units in August 2022. Thus, TAFE also shows good growth in their tractor sales volume this year.

4. Sales report for International Tractors Limited (Sonalika Tractor)

Sonalika Tractors also registered a growth in their sales volume by selling 8,458 tractor units in August 2023. Whereas, in August 2022, sonalika sold 7,293 tractor units. This data shows a growth in their monthly sales volume of August 2023 compared to August 2022. Hence, sonalika has also achieved a steady rise in its sales volume.

5. Sales report for Escorts Kubota Limited (Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Digitrac)

Escorts Kubota Limited shows significant growth by selling 7,432 tractor units in 2023, which is quite higher than their August 2022 sales volume, which registered the sales of 4,914 tractor units. Hence, this year has been a fruitful year for escorts Kubota and also shows an increasing demand for their tractors in the market.

6. Sales report for Eicher Tractors

Eicher Tractor have also been successful in increasing their tractor sales this month. Eicher sold 4,951 tractor units in August 2023, which is comparatively a better sales volume than its previous year's sales volume, which accounted for 4,245 unit sales. Hence, Eicher tractors have also managed a good position in this list with their increased sales.

7. Sales report for John Deere

John Deere Tractors has maintained a good position in the Indian Tractor market. John Deere sold 4,935 tractor units in August 2023 which is a good score than its previous year's tractor sales of August 2022, which accounted for 4,773 tractor units. Hence, John Deere is also gaining a competitive edge with other brands.

8. Sales report for CNH Industrial (New Holland tractors)

New Holland Tractors shows a significant growth in their sales volume compared to their previous year's monthly sales of August 2022. New Holland sold 2,382 tractor units in August 2023 which is higher compared to its 1,991 tractor unit sales of August 2022. Thus, New Holland is also growing its footprints in the Indian market.

9. Sales report for Kubota

Kubota Tractors has managed to increase its monthly sales volume by selling 1,499 tractor units in August 2023 which is slightly higher than last year's sales of 1,482 tractor units in August 2022. Hence, Kubota has noted a slight growth in their sales this year for August 2023.

10. Sales report of Other tractors

Apart from these tractor brands, Other companies have also managed to increase their monthly sales of tractors as Captain Tractors have significantly shown good growth in their tractor sales volume by selling 1,055 tractor units in August 2023 against the sales of 289 tractors in August 2022.

Whereas VST Tillers Tractors also shows a rise in their sales by selling 569 tractor units in August 2023 against 381 tractor sales in August 2022. Likewise, ADICO has also grown their sales rate this month meanwhile other tractor brands have recorded decline in sales in comparison of August 2022 . Hence,  these were the sales volume of all the tractor brands for the month of August 2023 and every tractor brand has done a sufficiently good.
