TAFE Aims for 2 Lakh Tractors in FY'26
Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), one of India's biggest tractor makers, is aiming to sell 200,000 tractors by the end of the financial year 2025–26. This amazing development plan is based on the company's renewed focus on innovation, a strong product line, and smart brand relationships.
New Products Are Driving Growth
In May 2025, TAFE registered 12.4% domestic growth and 24% export growth. Since then, TAFE has been working hard to add new products to its inventory, including a six-row paddy transplanter, a track harvester and tractor cabins to fulfil the changing demands of farmers in India and around the world.
TAFE wants to meet the needs of both small landowners and large commercial farming operations by offering fuel-efficient and high-performance tractors. The company is working on engine capacity and power through the Deutz engine programme at Alwar and aims to raise the output to 1,30,000 units by FY'28.
Brand Collaborations with a Purpose
TAFE's series of brand collaborations is another important part of its growth ambition. These relationships are helping the business reach more people in both the US and other countries. TAFE now sells tractors to more than 100 countries, and its strong partnerships with multinational brands Massey Ferguson make its global presence even stronger.
The synergy helps TAFE create a high-end brand while also getting into newer, high-demand areas like electric tractors, telematics, drones, and precision farming tools. TAFE thanked its Amalgamations Group Chairman, Mr. A. Krishnamoorthy, advisors and other board members for the agreement.

Looking Forward
TAFE's goal of selling 2 lakh is audacious but not impossible. The Indian government is pushing for farm modernisation, and the agriculture industry is steadily becoming more mechanised. This means that the need for trustworthy tractors is growing.
TAFE is not simply a tractor builder; it's also a trusted provider of farming solutions. It does this by focusing on new ideas, strategic partnerships, and customer service. It won't be easy to get there in FY'26, but TAFE knows what it wants: to expand by focusing on quality, working together, and being dedicated to the farmer.
Tractor Gyan is looking forward to celebrating this achievement with TAFE. At Tractor Gyan, you can get complete details of all the tractors and farming equipment by TAFE and Massey. Stay connected for more information.
