The Retail Harvester Sales in September 2026 in India were 1,905 units. In September 2025, retail harvester sales were 1,771. That is a growth of about 7.57% over last year. Let's look at how the top 5 brands performed this month and year-to-date.

Retail Harvester Sales in September 2026

Vishal stayed at number one. It sold 350 harvesters this September, against 277 last year. Its market share went up from 15.64% to 18.37%, a rise of 2.73%. That is the highest jump among the top 5.

Kartar came second with 224 harvesters, up from 179 in September 2025. Its market share grew by 1.65% to reach 11.76%. Malkit held third place. It sold 156 harvesters, a small rise from 154 last year. But because the market grew faster, its share slipped from 8.70% to 8.19%, a drop of 0.51%.

Preet had a good month and came fourth. Its sales went from 107 to 141 harvesters, and its market share rose by 1.36%. Punni Vishavkarma took fifth place with 96 harvesters, compared to 78 in September 2025. Its market share improved by 0.64% to 5.04%.

In the first six months of the financial year, from April to September 2026, farmers bought 8,282 harvesters. In the same month last year, the number was 7,957. That is a rise of about 4.08%.

  • Vishal leads the list with 1,156 harvesters and a 13.96% market share. In the same period last year, it had sold 1,188 and held 14.93%, so its share is down by 0.97%.
  • Kartar is second with 947 harvesters and an 11.43% share. A year ago, it sold 1,112 and had 13.98% market share, which means a drop of 2.54%.
  • John Deere is third with sales of 734 harvesters, up from 686 last year. Its market share rose by 0.24% to 8.86%.
  • Preet Agro is fourth with sales of 651 harvesters and a 7.86% share. That is 0.28% higher than last year.
  • Malkit rounds off the top 5 with 560 harvesters and a 6.76% share. It sold 610 last year.

Top 5 States for Harvester Sales (April 2026 to September 2026)

  • Uttar Pradesh is far ahead at number one. A total of 2,231 harvesters were sold here, which is 26.94% of all sales in the country.
  • Punjab comes second with 1,277 harvesters and a 15.42% share. This is no surprise, as Punjab has big wheat and paddy fields where harvesters are always in demand.
  • Madhya Pradesh holds third place with 911 harvesters and an 11.00% share.
  • Haryana is fourth with 767 harvesters, which gives it a 9.26% share.
  • Telangana rounds off the top 5 with 650 harvesters and a 7.85% share.

Together, these five states sold 5,836 harvesters, which is about 70.47% of the total. In simple words, almost 7 out of every 10 harvesters in India were sold in just these five states.
