Agriculture is a very broad stream. It is not just the cultivation of crops but it involves the cultivation of animals, plants, fungi and other life forms that are necessary to sustain life. 1.Horticulture

The Horticulture branch of agriculture mainly concerns the cultivation of flowers, vegetables, fruits, spices, condiments, ornamental plants, and beverages. These products are the secondary needs but are important too. One can try his hands in this domain along with conventional farming. It is the science and art of development, sustainable production, marketing, and use of high value intensively cultivated food and ornamental plants.

2.Agronomy

This branch of agriculture deals with the cultivation of different crops such as food crops, fibre crops, fodder crops, sugar, oilseeds, etc. The main motive of this domain is to satisfy the basic needs of people. 3.Forestry

This specific domain has perennial products like rubber, timber, wood etc. It generally produces products that work as raw material for various industries. This specific area of agriculture is mostly governed by the forest department. It is more important from the industrial perspective.

4.Animal Husbandry

Animal husbandry is a practice that deals with breeding and raising of livestock that are further used for human needs or as manure for crops. It includes pig farming, poultry farming, etc. It involves a risk factor, you have to very attentive in this practice otherwise, your small mistake can lead to a huge loss of animal lives as well as your investment.

5.Fishery

This particular branch of agriculture focuses on breeding and fostering of fishes. It includes both inland and marine fishes. It provides food and manure for crops.
