1.ओलावृष्टि में हुए नुक़सान की भरपाई हेतु 30.39 करोड़ रुपए की राशि जारी की गई।

हर वर्ष किसानों को ओलावृष्टि की समस्या का सामना करना पड़ता है, पिछले वर्ष 2019-20 में भी कई एकड़ों की फ़सल बर्बाद हो गईं। कई राज्य सरकारों ने अलग अलग योजनाओं के तहत किसानों को मुआवजा देने का ऐलान किया है, कई किसान पीएम फसल बीमा योजना का भी लाभ ले रहे है। इसी प्रकार से हरियाणा के कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री जेपी दलाल ने कहा कि राज्य में फसलों के भरपाई के लिए 30.39 करोड़ रुपये की मुआवजा राशि जारी की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले खरीफ और रबी के मौसमों में खराब हुई फसलों के लिए यह राशि जारी की गई है। बता दें कि ओलावृष्टि में गेहूं, सरसो आदि की फसलों को अधिक नुक़सान पहुंचा है। मंत्री जेपी दलाल ने जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि कई जिले के किसानों को मुआवजे की राशि जारी की गई है, जिसमें भिवानी जिले में 14 करोड़ 66 लाख 40 हजार रुपए,  रोहतक जिले में 7 करोड़ 28 लाख 49 हजार,  महेंद्रगढ़ जिले के लिए 7 करोड़ 56 लाख 18 हजार तथा यमुनानगर जिले के लिए 88 लाख 67 हजार रुपए की राशि जारी की गई। मंत्री ने ये भी बताया कि भिवानी जिले के विभिन्न गांवों के किसानों की 6235 एकड़ की खड़ी फसलें प्रभावित हुंई थी। बता दें मुआवजे देने की प्रक्रिया में सरकार प्रभावित फसलों की गिरदावरी भी करवा चुकी है।

4) बकरी पालन 

बकरी पालन करके उसके मीट का व्यापार किया जा सकता है । यह बिजनेस वैश्विक रूप से सबसे ज्यादा किए जाने वाले व्यापारियों में से एक है ।

5) खरगोश पालन

 खरगोश का पालन अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाले उनके लिए किया जाता है । यह मुख्यता अंगोरा खरगोश से प्राप्त हो सकता है और बाजार में काफी उच्च

3.Government step towards farmers loans in Telengana

Rythu Sangham asked the state government of Telangana to waive the loans of all farmers. The general secretary of the association, Mr T Sagar communicated with the state government by writing a letter to the agriculture minister of Telengana, Nirajan Reddy. He also urged to extend Rythu Bandhu Scheme to tenant farmers.

The Rythu Bandhu Scheme was launched in the year 2018-2019, to help farmers financially at the beginning of Kharif season so that they can be saved from undergoing debt burden. 

A budget of almost ₹1200 crores was passed by the state government of Telengana for the financial year 2018-2019. The scheme also facilitates investment support agriculture and horticulture crops by providing financial aid of ₹ 4000 per acre per farmer. The aid is given every season for purchasing basic farming inputs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, labour and various other agricultural requirements.

The scheme is very beneficial for the farmers of the state as it helps them to have a good start in every season.

4. Mustard prices cross 5000 mark – Farmers advised to sell regularly

India is the fourth-largest contributor of oilseeds in the world and mustard contributes about 28.6% in total oilseeds production. It is the third important oilseed in the world. 

Indian mustard, brown and yellow sarson, Raya, and toria crops are included in mustard rapeseed groups. These are grown mainly in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & in some areas of the south like Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Yellow sarson is considered as Rabi crop in Assam, Bihar, and some other states whereas in Punjab, UP, and Himachal Pradesh it is a catch crop. 

Mustard Cultivation Soil Requirement

Light to heavy soil is good for mustard cultivation.

Raya can be grown in all types of soil whereas loam to heavy soils is suitable for toria crop.

Sandy and loamy sand soils are suitable for Taramira crops.

Mustard markets have risen sharply in the last few months giving farmers decent returns on their production costs.

There are estimates of the rise in the sowing area this year due to better price remuneration by the farmers in 2019-2020. Demand for Mustard oil remains healthy due to an increase in household consumption, being influenced by the Rainy season.
