Every Montra electric tractor is powered by a 22.37 kWh Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LFP) battery pack. LFP chemistry has been chosen for its safety and reliability in the hot Indian climate. It’s a 72V system with a maximum charger capacity of 6.3 kW, which means a full charge takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes. 

Farmers can expect some 4-4.5 hours of continuous running in the field on a single charge, which more than covers a typical day’s work of ploughing, tilling or rotavation without the need for a diesel top-up. A digital display keeps you updated on battery percentage and motor temperature in real time, so you always know where you stand.
