Conclusion

Overall, January 2026 and YTD FY26 showcased a strong and broad-based recovery in India’s tractor market. While most leading brands posted healthy volume growth, market share movements indicate intensifying competition. On the regional front, demand remained heavily skewed toward a handful of large agrarian states, with the top five states contributing nearly two-thirds of total YTD sales. If current trends continue, the tractor industry is well-positioned for sustained growth in the remaining months of FY26, driven by stable rural demand and favourable agricultural conditions.
