Retail Harvester Sales in August 2026: Sold 1,319 Units, Decline 0.75%

Total retail harvester sales in August 2026 were 1,319 units, marking a 0.76% degrowth compared to 1,329 units sold in August 2025. Let's dig into the brand-wise Retail Harvester sales this month.

Brand Performance - Retail Harvester Sales Analysis August 2026

Vishal held onto the top spot in August 2026, selling 202 units and capturing a 15.31% market share. Compared to August 2025, the brand saw a 7.76% decline in volumes, down from 219 units sold last year.

Kartar landed in second position with 142 units sold, and its market share rose by 0.53% compared to the same month last year. Preet did really well once again, moving to the 3rd position, selling 114 units. Its market share also saw a growth of 3.15%.

Malkit is 4th amongst the top five contenders with 94 units sold, translating to a 7.13% market share, up by 0.35% from last year. John Deere was 5th with sales of 81 units, but unfortunately the brand faced a degrowth of 1.23% in market share.

YTD Retail Harvester Sales Analysis from April 2026 to August 2026

Cumulative harvester sales for the April-August 2026 period were 6,374 units, reflecting a 2.97% rise over units recorded during the same stretch in 2025. 

Vishal led the YTD chart with 806 units sold and a 12.65% market share. Kartar follows closely in second place with 723 units, though its market share has slipped by 3.75%.

John Deere has been the standout performer this year, climbing to 658 units, a 23.45% jump from 533 units in the same period last year, pushing its market share up by 1.71%.   

Preet is in fourth position with sales of 509 units, a 2.41% growth from 497 units last year, while Dasmesh completes the top five with 416 units, up 2.21% from 407 units, still losing 0.05% in market share.
