Sonalika Tractors posts September sales at 12,111 units

This sales which came a month prior to festive season has led the company’s market share to cross 13% mark.

New Delhi: Sonalika International Tractors Limited (ITL) on Monday reported a marginal increase in domestic sales at 12,111 tractors in September 2018.

This sales which came a month prior to the festive season has led the company’s market share to cross 13% mark, the company said in a statement.

During the same month last year, the company sold 12,056 units.

Raman Mittal, Executive Director, Sonalika Group said: “We are extremely delighted to register highest ever domestic sales of 12,111 tractors in Sept’18 resulting in significant market share gain, crossing 13% mark."

He further said the company has surpassed its last year’s festive volume.

"This ever highest sale a month prior to the festive season strengthens our confidence to be bullish in the upcoming festive season," he added.

Sonalika Tractors attributed the rising numbers to the trust that farmers have shown in its new product series Sikander.
