Retail Tractor Sales in November 2025: Sold 1,24,340 Tractors, Rise 56.29%
Retail tractor sales in November 2025 witnessed strong momentum, with the total retail tally reaching 1,24,340 units, a massive jump compared to 79,557 units in November 2024. This reflects a remarkable industry growth of 56.29% YoY, showcasing improved farmer sentiment, better rabi crop outlook, and strong market demand.
Retail Tractor Sales in November 2025
November 2025 recorded significant shifts across brands. Mahindra led the market with 31,925 units, up from 19,517 units last year, marking a solid 1.14% market share growth. Swaraj followed with 23,220 units, slightly increasing its share by 0.20%, showing steady performance.
In contrast, Sonalika's sales rose to 15,741 units from 10,856 units in Nov 2024, but its market share dipped by 0.99%, indicating that, although sales increased, competition intensified. Escorts Kubota sold 15,202 units, showing improved market presence with a 0.94% rise in market share. Meanwhile, Massey Ferguson registered 13,557 units, but its market share decreased by 0.89% compared to last year.
The top 5 brands sold 99,645 tractors out of the industry total of 124,340, contributing over 80.14 of November 2025 retail sales.
Retail Tractor Sales YTD (April 2025 to November 2025)

Mahindra topped the YTD charts with 1,53,253 units, up from 1,28,576 units in the same period last year. This translated into a positive 0.38% market share improvement, proving Mahindra’s strong customer retention and market dominance.
Swaraj, with 1,19,858 units, grew in absolute sales compared to 1,02,869 units last year, but recorded a 0.12% decline in market share, showing that although sales rose, competition in the premium and mid-HP segments increased.
Sonalika reported 82,883 units YTD, up from 72,474 units, but market share slipped by 0.33%. Massey Ferguson achieved 75,972 units, rising from 63,208 units, reflecting improved performance. Its market share grew by 0.29%. Escorts Kubota stood strong with 75,211 units, improving from 65,812 units last year. However, its market share dipped by 0.31%.
The top 5 brands together recorded 507,177 YTD sales, which account for nearly 79.54% of the industry’s 637,608 total retail sales.

State-Wise: Retail Tractor Sales YTD (April 2025 to November 2025)

Maharashtra led the state-wise sales chart with 94,413 units, contributing 14.81% of total India retail sales. The state’s strong agricultural mechanisation and robust Kharif crop season boosted tractor demand significantly.
Uttar Pradesh followed with 83,783 units, holding a 13.14% contribution. Despite marginal fluctuations in rural liquidity, UP continued to be a high-volume tractor market due to its vast farming population.
Rajasthan recorded 80,017 units, contributing 12.55% to national YTD sales. Favourable monsoon conditions and higher wheat acreage played a major role in improved tractor demand across the state.
Madhya Pradesh, with 72,202 units and an 11.32% share, maintained a strong performance. Gujarat posted 59,538 units with a 9.34% contribution.
The top 5 states delivered 389,953 tractors, contributing 61.16% of India’s total YTD retail sales of 637,608 units.
