Mahindra FES Sept sales decline 18% at 37,581 units

The domestic sale of the company also decreased by 19 per cent at 35,953 units as compared to 44, 220 units in the same month year ago.

New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Farm Equipment Sector (FES) on Monday posted an 18 percent decline in total sales at 37,581 units in September. The company had sold 45,788 units in September last year, as per a regulatory filing.
The domestic sale of the company also decreased by 19 percent at 35,953 units as compared to 44, 220 units in the same month year ago.

Mahindra FES Sept sales decline 18% at 37,581 units Exports in September, however, grew 4 percent at 1, 628 units as against 1,568 units in the year-ago month.
Commenting on the month’s performance, Rajesh Jejurikar, President - Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “We have sold 35,953 tractors in the domestic market during September 2018.
The September numbers reflect the change in the season compared to the same period last year. We expect positive momentum in the festive season, which starts in October. In the export markets, we sold 1,628 tractors”.
