Escorts Ltd Agri Machinery Segment (Farmtrac, Digitrac & Powertrac) in January 2020 Sold 6,063 tractors registering a growth of 12 percent against 5,991 tractors sold in January 2019.

Domestic tractor sales in January 2020 at 5,845 tractors registering a growth of 1.4 percent against 5,762 tractors in January 2019. Export for the month of January 2020 at 218 tractors as against 229 tractors sold in January 2019. However, for the first ten months of 2019-20, Total India sales were 68,975 versus 74,974-- a fall of 8%.

The company’s FY21 outlook turned positive. It now estimates low single-digit growth in FY21 as against earlier expectation of fall. The company sold 25,109 tractors in the third quarter of fiscal 2020 as against 25,743 units in the corresponding period last fiscal.

Shares of ESCORTS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.804 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 818.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 238314 in over 5638 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 817.2 and intraday low of 795.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs.192376744.
