The sales of retail tractors in April 2026 are 73,801 units, which is up by 23.81%, compared to the sales of April 2025. Retail Tractor Sales in April 2026

• Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors is again the undisputed leader with sales of 16,884 tractors. Although the company's market share reduced by 0.68%.
• Swaraj, with sales of 14,596 units, is in the 2nd position, showing a growth of 25.74% year-on-year.
• Sonalika sold 10,472 tractors in April 2026. That's a 1.12% market share increase since April 2025.
• Escorts Kubota is 4th with 8,773 tractor sales. But its market share decreased by 0.16% over April 2025.
• Massey Ferguson acquired the 5th position with sales of 8,437 units in April 2026, registering a market share of 11.43%.

These top 5 brands together have 80.17% market share. This increased sales indicates high demand due to increasing farm mechanisation.

State-Wise Retail Tractor Sales

In April 2026, Uttar Pradesh was at the top of the list, with tractor sales of 13,763 units. Swaraj was the top performer in UP with sales of 3,372 tractors. Rajasthan came next, with sales of 11,286 units and a market share of 15.29%. 

Madhya Pradesh ranked third, with 7,648 units sold and a 10.36% market share. Maharashtra registered sales of 6,915 units, ranking 4th. Karnataka ranked 5th with 5,761 tractor sales.

In April 2026, the retail tractor sales continued to grow more than the last year. The growth is the result of favourable weather and government policies. With growing demand, this improvement in sales is likely to persist in the months ahead in the FY 2026-27.
