Retail tractor sales in July 2026: Sold 1,07,329 tractors, Rise 27.82%

The total retail tractor sales are 1,07,329 units in July 2026, registering a 27.82% YoY growth over July 2025. Let's have a closer look at the top brands with the highest sales YoY and YTD.

Retail Tractor Sales in July 2026

Mahindra maintained its market leadership with 24,918 units sold in July 2026 compared to 20,317 units sold in July 2025. But Mahindra's market share dropped by 0.98% from last year.

Swaraj was in the second position with a retail tractor sale of 20,415 units, and a year-on-year growth in market share of 0.55%. Sonalika secured the third position, with 14,438 tractors sold, recording a 22.77% growth over its sales of 11,760 units in July 2025.

Massey Ferguson secured the fourth position with sales of 13,807 units in the retail market against 9,402 units in July 2025, registering a market share of 12.86%. Escorts Kubota was the fifth-largest player with total sales of 12,413 tractors and a market share of 11.57% in July 2026.

Retail Tractor Sales YTD (April 2026 to July 2026)

Industry-wide retail sales of tractors during the April-July 2026 period were 3,51,999 units, representing a 23.56% increase over YTD sales of 2,84,874 units during the same period in 2025.  

Mahindra topped the cumulative YTD charts with 83,242 units sold and a market share of 23.65%, followed by Swaraj at the second spot with sales of 65,959 units (18.74% market share), taking the total market share of the Mahindra Group to 42.39%.

Sonalika retained its 3rd position with sales of 47,003 units and a market share of 13.35%. Massey Ferguson was fourth with 44,500 units sold, while Escorts Kubota rounded out the top five with a YTD sales of 40,223 units, with 12.64% and 11.43% market shares, respectively.
