1.मुख्यमंत्रियों के साथ बैठक कर केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री ने दी 1 लाख करोड़ के कृषि इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर फंड की जानकारी।

केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्री व कृषि मंत्रियों के साथ हुई बैठक में कृषि इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर फंड की जानकारी दी। कृषि मंत्री श्री तोमर यह फंड एक लाख करोड़ रुपए का है जिसका फायदा देश के 85% छोटे व मझौले किसानों तक पहुंचना जरूरी है। मंत्री ने कहा कि किसानों के जारी की गई यह अभी तक की सबसे बड़ी राशि है। उन्होंने नए अध्यादेश के बारे में कहा कि यह पूरी तरह से किसान हितैषी है और किसानों को इसमें दिए गये न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य को लेकर गुमराह नहीं होना चाहिए। बैठक के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने भी फंड का लाभ किसानों तक पहुंचाने की बात कही, जिस क्रम में मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान कहते है कि इस फंड का उपयोग किसानों के विकास के लिए किया जाएगा जिसमें उनकी आय दोगुनी हो सकेगी,उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि राज्य स्तरीय मॉनिटरिंग कमेटी बना ली गई है और राज्य में एफपीओ का गठन करके राज्य में आंदोलन का रूप दिया जाएगा। चौहान के साथ हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर और उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत ने भी इस फंड की तारीफ की और अपने राज्यों में हो रहें विकास की जानकारी दी।

2. More productive and efficient hybrid tomato seeds have been developed by the scientists of Kashmir 

One of the most common vegetables produced worldwide is Tomato. Even being native to South America the largest producer of tomatoes is China. India with the major tomato producing states like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Orrisa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Bihar stands at the second position in the world contributing to 11% of total tomato production in the world.

And recently a new variety of hybrid tomato is developed by the scientists of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Science and Technology (SKUAST) that is much more productive and grows much faster than the other local varieties. The researchers and students from SKUAST that are looking after this project are hoping that this new variety of tomato seeds will increase tomato production and income of farmers.

Currently, the government in Jammu and Kashmir is focusing on developing the infrastructure and agriculture sector of the state hoping that this hybrid variety of tomato seeds will increase the production and income of farmers.

3. India is all ready to enjoy a nice harvest this year.

As we all knew that this year nature has shown us some really different versions of itself. But this year monsoon has been the best for the agriculture field due to which there was not much effect seen on agriculture because of COVID. The rain has crossed several records of the past and helped farmers to sow more and to have a better harvest. The area under cultivation in 2020 is 8.56% more than that of in 2019. Talking about specifics like rice and oilseeds cultivation area it's 12% and 16% more than the last year. We could make the most of this monsoon by focusing on oilseeds and pulses production which will help us in decreasing our dependence on imports for the fulfilment of demands.

4.हिमाचल प्रदेश को मिला 1200 करोड़ का आर्थिक पैकेज - बनाए जा रहे पीएफओ

कोरोना काल में भी सरकार कृषि को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कई योजनाएं चला रही है । इस कड़ी में प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 20 लाख करोड़ रुपए के आर्थिक पैकेज की घोषणा की गई थी । जिसका लक्ष्य कई सेक्टरों को मंदी से उबारने का था जिसमें कृषि भी शामिल था । 20 लाख करोड़ के इस आर्थिक पैकेज में सभी राज्यों के किसानों के लिए कुछ राशि तय की गई थी । जिसके अंतर्गत हिमाचल प्रदेश को 1200 करोड रुपए की राशि प्रदान की गई है । इस राशि का उपयोग राज्य के कृषि विकास के लिए जोरों से किया जा रहा है । अब तक इस राशि से राज्य में 99 पीएफओ  बना दिए गए हैं । जिनके माध्यम से कृषि के लिए आधारभूत ढांचे को मजबूत करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है । राज्य में आलू मटर एवं सेब का उत्पादन मुख्यता किया जाता है । पीएफ़ओ के माध्यम से इस कार्य को करने में आसानी होगी । राज्य के मंत्री ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि प्रदेश सरकार ने वर्ष 2022 तक प्रदेश के सभी किसानों को प्राकृतिक खेती से जोड़ने का लक्ष्य रखा है । जिसके लिए इस राशि का उपयोग किया जा रहा है ।

5.India's soybean output to surge by over 31.5%: Soybean Processors Association of India

The Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA) has reported that India's 2020-21 soybean area will rise by over 8%, while production will increase by over 31.5% to 122.475 lakh tonnes compared to the previous year, this was interpreted by an extensive field survey of the soybean crop in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan was undertaken by two teams of SOPA.

Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will be the main contributors to the rise owing to an increase in acreage and yields. Similarly, in Rajasthan, the area and production are likely to increase. In Madhya Pradesh, the soybean area has gone up by about 12% in 2020-21 and crop production is estimated to be around 58.530 lakh tonne.

The area under soybean in Maharashtra is expected to rise by 5% to 39.292 lakh hectare and production by over 14% to 45.131 lakh tonne. 

Good monsoon rainfall in key crop-growing areas has boosted prospects of a bumper harvest. The area under oilseeds, rice, and pulses are higher than last year, and crops are growing well under favorable weather conditions.

Similarly, with the case of spices, India produces 75 out of 109 listed spices by ISO but exports half of the global trading in spices. The production of rice in the year 2019-20 was 115 million tonnes but the export was merely 10.4 million tonnes.
