Harvester Retail Sales in June 2024: Review Brands Performance and MoM Growth

In India, the total retail harvester sales in June 2024 remained at 595 units. Let’s learn more about the individual sales of these brands and review their MoM growth. 

Insights into Harvester Sale in June 2024 

The retail harvester sales from Jan-24 to June 2024 remained at 5791 units against the 9099 units sold from January to June last year. Considering this, it’s clear that retail harvester sales experienced a certain decline on a YoY basis. 

The key reason behind this massive drop in sales is because of the upgrade of the Bharat Stage III (BS3) norm to Bharat Stage IV (BS4) norms. To implement these norms, harvester manufacturers have to make certain changes in the diesel engines of harvesters which lead to an overall increase in the production cost and retail sale price of harvesters in India leading to a major decrease in sales. 

For the current calendar year (Jan-June 2024), Vishal (Manku Agrotech) is the top harvester brand in India with a total sale of 1067 units. The second and third place is acquired by Kartar and Malkit with 775 and 399 units sold.

Brands such as Preet, John Deere, New Holland, and Punni Vishavkarma face neck-to-neck competition because the difference in total sales figures is minimal. The difference between the sales figures of Preet and John Deere is 41 units, John Deere and New Holland is 14 units, New Holland and Dasmesh is 4 units, and Dasmesh and Punni Vishavkarma is 2 units, which is comparatively narrower than other brands and can easily change the rankings of these brands in the industry.
 

Brand-Wise Harvester Sale in India in June 2024 

Below, you will find the details of the June 2024 harvester sale of the top 15 brands in India. 

Vishal Harvester Sale in June 2024 

By selling 57 harvester units in June 2024, Vishal becomes the 2nd highest-selling brand in India. In June 2023, this brand sold 558 units. The recorded sales for Jan 2024- June 2024 stood at 1067 units against the 1513 units sold during Jan 2023-June 2023. 

Kartar Harvester Sale in June 2024 

Kartar became the highest harvester-selling brand in India in June 2024 by selling 116 units against the 574 units sold in June 2023. This brand demonstrated a significant drop in its YoY growth. Jan 2024 to June 2024 sales remained at 775 against the 1420 units sold for the same year last year. 

Malkit Harvester Sale in June 2024 

In June 2024, Malkit sold 26 harvester units in India whereas its June 2023 sale was 274 units. This way, the brand experienced a massive YoY drop. The sale from (Jan 2024- June 2024) remained at 399 units against the 642 units sold from Jan 2023- June 2023. 

Preet Harvester Sale in June 2024

Preet Agro sold 15 units of harvester in June 2024 while its June 2023 sale was 198 units. Its Jan 2024- June 2024 sales are 289 units against the 587 units sold during Jan 2023- June 2023. 

John Deere Harvester Sale in June 2024 

John Deere closed in June 2024 with recorded sales of 20 units. The first six-month sale ( Jan 2024- June 2024) remained at 248 units. However, the June 2023 harvester sale was 43 units whereas Jan 2023- June 2023 sales remained at 261 units.  

 New Holland Harvester Sale in June 2024 

The total harvester sales in New Holland in June 2024 stood at 29 units. As the company sold 70 units in June 2023, it experienced a MoM decline. The first six-month sale (Jan 2024- June 2024) remained at 234 units against the 223 units sold during Jan 2023- June 2023. 

Dashmesh Harvester Sale in June 2024 

Dashmesh sold 21 units in June 2024 against the 129 units sold in June 2023. This recorded sale of June 2024 denotes a significant YoY drop. Dashmesh sold a total of 230 units between Jan 2024- June 2024 whereas it sold 354 units from Jan 2023- June 2023. 

Punni Vishavkarma Harvester Sale in June 2024 

Punni Vishavkarma sold 2 harvesters in June 2024 against the 27 units sold in June 2023. The first six-month sales for 2024( Jan 2024- June 2024) remained at 228 units whereas the brand sold 204 units in the first six-month sales of 2023. 

Guru Nanak Agri Harvester Sale in June 2024 

Guru Nanak Agri sold 15 harvester units in June 2024. Its June 2023 sale was 58 units. This concludes a massive YoY decline. The brand sold 140 units between Jan 2024 -June 2024 whereas the last year the sale was 256 units for the same period. 

New Gurdial Harvester Sale in June 2024 

The New Gurdial sold 26 units in June 2024 whereas its June 2023 sale was 79 units. It recorded Jan 2024 - June 2024 sales as 117 against the 157 units sold during Jan 2023 - June 2023. 

K. S Agricultural Harvester Sale in June 2024 

K.S Agricultural sold 18 unit in June 2024 whereas its June 2023 sale was 82 units. Between Jan 2024- June 2024, it sold 116 units against the 217 units sold in Jan 2023- June 2023. 

Surindera Harvester Sale in June 2024 

Surindera harvester sales in June 2024 remained at 15 units against the 46 units sold in June 2023. It sold 101 harvesters between Jan 2024 to June 2024 whereas it sold 151 units in Jan 2023- June 2023. 

Shaktiman Harvester Sale in June 2024 

Shaktiman sold 19 harvest units in June 2024 and its first six-month sale ( Jan 2024- June 2024) for 2024 remained at 100 units. However, it sold 98 units in June 2023 and its first six-month sale ( Jan 2023- June 2023 ) was 248 units. 

K. S Agrotech Harvester Sale in June 2024 

K.S Agrotech sold 16 harvesters in June 2024. Its recorded sales for the first six months of 2024 are 84 units. 

Mahindra Harvester Sale in June 2024 

Mahindra sold 11 harvester units in June 2024 and registered a significant YoY drop as it sold 75 units in June 2023. Mahindra closed the first six months of 2024 ( Jan 2024- June 2024) with 67 units against the 173 units sold in the first six months of 2023. 

Other Brands Sale in June 2024 

Other harvester brands sold 189 units in June 2024 whereas the first six months' sale stood at 1,596 units.
