According to the wholesale tractor sales report published by Mahindra & Mahindra, the total sales in the domestic market was 26,305 tractors in India in January 2025. This is 15% more than the 22,972 tractors sold in January 2024. 

The major reasons behind these sales are the expectations of higher budget allocation from the Union Budget 2025, continued government support on various rural schemes and agri subsidies. Along with these the good conditions for growing Rabi crops including better soil moisture levels and high water storage levels also helped in this successful sales. 

Mahindra & Mahindra Wholesale Tractor Export Sales in January 2025

Mahindra & Mahindra's wholesale export tractor sales showed a positive increase of 28% with sales of 1,252 tractors in January 2025. In January 2024, the company sold only 976 tractors. 

Mahindra & Mahindra Total Wholesale Tractor Sales in January 2025

The wholesale tractor sales by Mahindra & Mahindra in both domestic and export markets were 27,557 units in January 2025. It is 15% higher than the sales of 23,948 tractors in January 2024 collectively in both international and national markets. Mahindra & Mahindra sold a total of 3,64,180 tractors between April 2024 and January 2025, 10% more than the sales of 3,30,690 tractors during the same period the previous year.
