Plough

A Plough is a primary tillage implement used to prepare land before sowing crops. It works by cutting and turning the soil, which helps loosen hard ground and burying weeds and crop residues. Ploughs such as mouldboard plough, disc plough and chisel plough are widely used for deep soil preparation and are suitable for different tractor HP ranges.

Rotavator

A Rotavator is a modern soil preparation implement mainly used for secondary tillage. It has rotating blades that break soil clods, mix crop residues and level the field to create a fine seedbed. Rotavators are available in multiple sizes and are compatible with various tractor HP categories, depending on model and working width.

Difference Between Plough and Rotavator
