Ans.

Farmers need tons of equipment to ease down their farming operations and potato harvesters and potato planters are two of them. They may sound the same, but they are not the same equipment.

Functionality-wise, a potato harvester is used to dig and harvest mature potato plants from the ground. It helps farmers to uproot the entire plant, including the potatoes and separates them from the soil.

On the other hand, a potato planter is used to plant seed potatoes in the ground. With its help, farmers can create furrows and spaces to seed the potatoes.

Potato harvesters and potato planters are also used at the different stages of farming.

A potato planter is used at the early stage of farming while a potato harvester is used at the later stage of the farming. Potato harvesters have various components such as digging blades, conveyors, and sorting mechanisms.

Potato planters have simple components as compared to potato harvesters. They have blades and a typical cutting mechanism for proper spacing and forrow. While they both are used for potato crops, they have different mechanisms and utility. You've many options to choose from.
