Ans.

Farming is more than an activity. It's a responsibility and farmers are requested to adopt the best ethics and policies as they proceed. Here is a list of a few ethical considerations surrounding food production to keep in mind.

They should look after animal welfare as and when they are involved in farming-related activities. Factory farming often involves animal hoarding in crowded and stressful conditions. This shouldn't be the case. As it can lead to physical and psychological suffering. Sustainable farming ethics recommend using antibiotics and giving animals the proper treatment.

When it comes to ethics in the environmental impact of farming activities, factory farming results in heavy deforestation, excessive greenhouse gas emissions, and water pollution. They should adopt sustainable practices aimed at minimizing environmental harm by using regenerative farming techniques, reducing waste, and minimizing the use of synthetic chemicals and fertilizers.

Ethical considerations related to human health in sustainable farming suggest farmers produce food that is safe and nutritious. Factory farming has a constant focus on using excessive pesticides that often have huge risks to human health.
