Tractor ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) is a safety feature in a tractor that is built to provide the utmost safety to the operator against being crushed under the tractor in case of accidental overturning. The Tractor ROPS is designed to provide safety and build sufficient strength to bear safely a load on the tractor in case of overturning. However, the operator must wear a seatbelt to get the benefit of ROPS. ROPS are important whether you have a small tractor or a big tractor. There are three types of ROPS for tractors.
- Rollover Protective Frame: It can have either a two-post or a four-post frame that is securely placed on the tractor’s main body.
- Folding Rollover Protection: This type of ROPS can have a foldable top portion that can manoeuvre the tractor under low overhead clearance. These are suitable for Orchards.
- Rops Enclosure: This forms a protective enclosure that includes a protective frame and glass, along with a metal enclosure surrounding the operator.
